“A pictures doesn’t paint a thousand words unless somebody takes it…”

This is usually the about section but we called it a 1,000. Because that’s exactly what we are about to keep it.

Your wedding is one of the most, if not, the most important day of your life. You have someone you love. You have the date. You have a place confirmed, deposit and all. Your’e working on your guest list. You have a budget for photography and there are a ton of people to choose from. Literally.

You look at amazing photos on pinterest. You get recommendations etc. And then you make a decision. You’ll get your photos. For the most part, you will love them because they're pictures of your day. You’ll put a bunch on social media. You’ll choose 5-10 that you love and frame them. The rest you’ll keep on a hard drive, and over the years look back to see how skinny and how young you looked on your wedding day. You’ll get a kick out of it.

I say all of this to really say two things.

1). Your photographer is the second most important person at your wedding (the first is the person marrying you). So you want someone who can take halfway decent pictures.

2). All the money that you spend on your photos will essentially be reduced to the ones you decide to hang on a wall. You don’t have to spend a ton of money on good photos that will sit on a hard drive for most of your marriage. This is reality. Ask any of your married friends.
